I spent several sleepovers at Doreen's house on Trestle Glen Road and it easily could have been a scene out of Grease. She had a very nice bedroom in the upstairs of her house where we'd sit on her bed while setting our hair in rollers, talking and giggling. (I was neat about it (compulsive tendencies), whereas she was a little haphazard about placing her curlers, (which was probably indicative of her creative side)). We wore "baby dolls" and talked and laughed a lot about girlie things and always had a delicious breakfast the next morning in her kitchen. She had a little brown dachshund who was more like an energetic kid with a fun and playful personality. I thought it was very cool that she had the same last name as the president. She laughed easily. Many great memories made at herhouse and I'll always be glad that we were friends.

Doreen was such a very sweet person; and very attractive too.
I knew her through school; as she attended the 3 schools I did (Grammar, Jr. High, & Sr. High) until we graduated in 1963.
I knew her & her sister, as they would come to my house to attend my sisters briownie & girl scouts meetings.
She was nice to everone & it is so sad she passed away fairly young!
She will always be remembered.
